  • 2 lbs. skinned Walleye
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2/3 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/3 cup butter – softened
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Onion – finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder

Method 1
Place a single layer of fillets in a well greased baking dish. Brush with lemon juice and let stand for 10 minutes. Broil fillets about 4 inches from heat source for 6-8 minutes or until fish flakes apart easily with a fork. Meanwhile combine all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Remove fish from broiler and spread with cheese mixture. Broil 2-3 minutes longer or until lightly browned.

Method 2
Place a single layer of fillets on a well greased piece of foil. Brush with lemon juice and let stand for 10 minutes. Place foil with fillets on a hot grill. Cook on high 6-8 minutes until fish flakes apart easily with a fork. Meanwhile combine all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Spread cheese mixture onto fish. Cook with grill lid down 2-3 minutes longer or until lightly browned.
